What the program covers
- The pre-trip inspection: tires, lights, mirrors, doors and safety equipment
- Smooth braking, acceleration and turns, driving with passengers in mind
- Observation and scanning to the higher Class 4 standard
- Practice in our car before your test
- Use of our car for the road test (3.5-hour program)
Before you book your road test
To take the Class 4 road test you will need a full licence, a driver’s medical exam and a passed Class 4 knowledge test. Check ICBC for the current requirements.

Questions students ask
Who needs a Class 4 licence?
In B.C., drivers for ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft, taxis and limousines need a Class 4 licence. The Restricted class covers vehicles that carry up to 10 people, including the driver.
Can I use your car for the Class 4 road test?
Yes. The 3.5-hour program includes a warm-up and the use of our car for your test.
Can I take the lessons in Punjabi or Hindi?
Yes. Parmod teaches in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
