Full of Grace Driving School (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can access or correct it, in line with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
- When you contact us or send the booking form: your name, phone number, and anything else you choose to give us, such as your email, lesson type, pickup area, road test date, preferred times and your message.
- When you take lessons: the details we need to teach you and book your road test, such as your pickup address and licence class.
- When you visit this website: basic, non-identifying usage information (such as pages viewed and the type of device) collected through Google Analytics cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and book, schedule and confirm lessons
- To pick you up and drop you off
- To help you prepare for and attend your ICBC road test
- To understand how people find our website so we can improve it
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose you have not agreed to.
Who we share it with
We only share your information when it is needed to provide our services or required by law, for example with ICBC when booking a road test with your permission. Our website uses a few service providers that may process data on our behalf: our web host, Google Analytics (website statistics) and Akismet (spam filtering of form messages). Some of these providers may store data outside Canada.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages and student records only as long as we need them for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete them.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, including secure website connections (HTTPS) and limiting access to the people who need it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it (which may mean we can no longer provide lessons). You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
